Utility Company’s Corporate Campus Experiences a Sewer Main Backup

The corporate head office for a utility company experienced a backup of the main sewer from their facility. A video inspection of the pipe revealed that it was caused by a displaced gasket in the PVC plastic sewer pipe. The failed joint was in an area of the campus that was very difficult to access and would have been extremely disruptive to dig up and replace.

Revive Pipe Restoration Inc used existing manholes on the property to install a Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) point repair through the affected section of piping. The sewer system was able to stay in use for the duration of the repair.
